News: Mario Kart Wii Update!

At LONG last Nintendo has given us some information about Mario Kart Wii. With everyones attention focused on the newly released Super Smash Bros Brawl, people almost forgot about the game racing onto the horizon soon this spring.



Details for the game are not well known, but here is what we DO know. We know that Nintendo will have a new Wii Channel for the game. Where have we seen this before? Oh yeah, Wii Fit. Apparently the channel will let you customize you Miis into the game. Whether they are racers is not known, but Nintendo seems to be hinting at that.

Additionally Nintendo confirmed that there will be 12 player online play with the game. I look at this as great, because I like Wi-Fi games, and need some racing action on my Wii. Hopefully Nintendo will release their headset they hinted at before this games release, so we can use it with Mario Kart.

We already know that they are incorpirating motorbikes into the game, and hopefully Wario will get his motorcycle from Brawl, which only makes sense. Thats all the news for now. Be sure to race to the site to check for updates, and know YOUR video game news!
